Here comes the belly

Here are some pictures of the belly up until now... I might have been forcing the belly to show a little more in the last picture. But I think we are close to really having a belly!! We are five months along so I am sure in the next month the little one will really pop out!!

Baby's Heartbeat

We went to the doctor today and had a routine checkup with Dr. N. Everything is looking good. The baby is growing as it should (or at least my uterus is). We were able to hear the heartbeat on the little Doppler at 162 bmp. At the last ultrasound at 12 weeks Dr. R said that he was 98% sure it was a girl. We were moving along with those odds. Well today Dr. N said to be careful because sometimes things "tend to pop out" by 18 weeks. She said that Dr. R has not be wrong yet at 18 week ultrasounds but has been wrong quite a few times at 12 weeks. So we will have to wait and see what the result is at our 18 week ultrasound (which I am actually doing at 19 weeks). I am at 17 weeks this week so before I know it we are going to be halfway done!!
