Becca's Nursery!!

Well after lots of hard work the nursery is as close to done as it is going to get before Becca arrives... because I think the only thing we are missing is HER!

This weekend we received the final item, a wonderful gift from my parents, her Rocker! I have a feeling Mark and I will be spending many hours rocking Becca to sleep in this beautiful rocker so it will be VERY well used. We were so excited when it arrived I could not wait to get it in her room. Thank goodness my cousin came in town with her husband because there was no way that I could help Mark carry it up two flights of stairs.

If feels so good to have the nursery ready for Becca! My goal was to have it done by Thanksgiving so that I would not have to worry about it in the weeks before she arrives. I am happy that I was able to complete my goal (it is the little things these days)! I am also excited to show the nursery to the great-grandmothers while they are in town for the holiday. For now the picture frames have fabric in them but before long I hope to have beautiful pictures of our little girl!!

Here is the adorable Becca sign that the girls gave me for my baby shower, which Meg's sister made. If you need any banners made I can forward on her sisters information, she did a great job!
Abby checking out Becca's doggie. Abby has enjoyed sitting in the rocker with me when I just sit in the room and stare at her crib. Hopefully she will be just as good when I am in there rocking the little girl to sleep.

Here is an closer picture of the rocker! It is white with pink cording. They even made a pillow with Becca's initials. I just love it!! If anyone needs a rocker or bedding please let me know, we have been so happy with all of Brenda's work!!
